Tell me this league isn't messed up

Best Case Scenario:
1. Akron losses @ Buffalo, Buffalo losses @ OU, BG losses @ Western, Western losses @ BSU. We win our last 2 and we are overall MAC champs. Those 4 losses we need aren't that unreasonable. Crazy considering how I (& others) have bashed this team.

Worst Case Scenario:
We lose both games and Arkon, Buffalo, OU, Western, BG, Toledo split and Ball St wins 2 and we're the number 9 seed ( i think).

Tell me any other league in America that has that kind of parity. Its all right in front of us. Lets hope these first 28 games have prepared us for the next 12 days.

Lets just win out from here on, theres nothing more to that.

It's rather comical when I check out for example, zipnation.org, and I see OU posters of all people saying how overrated Kent is this year. I know OU beat us badly back on Jan 15 in Athens. I don't believe that beating holds any water at this point. In their scenarios section they don't have Kent beating Miami in any of them. We are one of the few teams that can beat Miami at Millet CC (fast greens and quiet surroundings). I think we putt rather well.

Many OU posters are just obnoxious homers. Imagine how insufferable they'd be if the Bobs ever won anything.

They have some weird strays. Actually, I find Bobcatattack to be one of the saner boards of all the MAC boards. They generally respond sharply to foolish opinions about the reality of OU athletics. The most unrealistic boards seem to me to be ubfan and zipnation. In fairness to the ub fans, this is their first experience getting any attention at all and they are a little over the top with it. Zipnation has 2-3 good posters and a slew of people with an unhealthy obession with us. They even have word censors and icons for us. Can you imagine anyone here caring enough about them to bother?
MiamiHawktalk has some very good fans and is very active. BSUfans is a good site, too, but they are suicidal and fatalistic much of the time lately. UT's fan sites don't talk much basketball. CMU and WMU go back and forth with each other a lot. NIU--all football and an occasional mention of hoops. This year they mention Illini hoops almost as much as their own. BG's is active and covers all sports pretty well. I've never visited EMU's and the Marshall folks are pretty quiet about basketball as you might imagine.
Just a superficial take on the fan boards. I don't visit most of them regularly unless we a game coming up with them.

I find that sooo comical. The level of jealousy among the Zippies over there is unbelievable. They also appear to be a fairly insulated group as they rarely participate in the main MAC board discussions.
