Now that I've more or less thrown in the towel for this year (not that a nice March surprise isn't possible), spent some time during these dark days looking ahead.

I was happily surprised to learn that one hoops service is already listing Brandon Parks at 7'0 (7'0 and 255 to be exact). Tried to copy it to share the news, but it was restricted. Could be wrong, but a 6"10 HS senior still has at least two inches to grow, so he may well be at 7'0 by the time he plays for us next fall if he isn't there already.

The service enclosed an article from his HS coach stating Brandon is still growing :D and predicting he'll have a great college career. He's currently averaging 8.1 points and 7.3 boards a game. Hey, that's a lot better than Big John's HS record at Hudson.

Under the brighter days ahead scenario, does anyone hear or know about Isaac Knight? He's on our roster, and the media guide said he'd be out half of the year recovering from shoulder surgery. This would indicate he's practicing with the team by now, giving him a jump start for next year. Any news?
