I'm happy for big John, but it looks like he needs to rebound more, and foul less. Still, for a guy that was a non-factor in high school, and initially a walk-on in college, he has really achieved. I don't care if he is 7' tall, playing in the NBA is a genuine accomplishment.

During summer league play, Edwards so dominated #1 NBA draft choice Andrew Bogut that Bogut picked a fight with him, getting them both suspended for a game.
That's the reason he scored a $2 million dollar contract with the Hawks.
He's coming along, needs to be more consistent.

Well, John seems to have made it off the bench for the Hawks. I was hoping he would play a little more. At least it's more than with Indiana.
Here is how he did against Golden State tonight in his first regular season action with the Hawks:
7 Min. 1 reb, 1 ast, 2 fouls and 0 points.
Hope they get him a little more time.
