He sounds like a true blue Kent man. I like to hear recruits say Kent was their first choice.

Sure am glad we settled for him. :D An earlier posting referenced an article where he called Charlie Coles to tell him to skip the workout with Wally...he was headed for Kent.

The thing some may minimize is the quality of preps leagues that produce recruits. High school competition in hoops crazy cities like Chicago (Smith), Detroit ( Knight) and Indy ( Sherman and Scott) is a huge boost in MAC level competition.

JC has a scholarship left to offer. Hope he uses it to recruit a center.

Make that two scholarships left...

Not counting transfers, is he the only recruit so far?
