For those that have been around campus for the last several years, they know Haynes has been the leader of this team for much of his career. In my mind, that's a good thing. I would debate last year's problem was chemistry. But the reasons for those transfers are in the past. Haynes is a person you want leading this team.

Quote:I can't believe how lucky we are to have this guy coaching at KSU. Were it not for his connections to JC, he would be at a major program this season.
Amen, brother. I still am waiting for somone to say "just kidding."
J.O. did a he**uva job a DePaul, coaching a team that shared a CUSA title with a NCAA Final Four team, Marquette. Whether we like CUSA or not, the old league was loaded. For three years, he's drawn or executed game plans against the likes of Louisville, Marquette, Memphis, and Cinci...and WON. Let's just say Ohio isn't going to make him shake in his shoes. He is a highly regarded recruiter in college circles.
Think about this, this guy's got the paper to go just about anywhere. J. C.'s buddy or not, he's not going to burn an assignment on a program he thinks is heading down.
So, whenever you think, "Who has J.C.recruited?".....
