That first WVC game against Iona will be tough. The MAAC followers here in NY are all predicting a great season for the Gaels, with most members of a 21-win team returning.

Our non-conference schedule is deceivingly tough. There aren't a lot of 'name' teams but 5 teams from last year's RPI top 100.

Interesting that the Flashes only have three true road games (unless you count the WVC game against CSU) in non-conference play and that their first game outside of northeast Ohio doesn't occur until game 9. Seems like a favorable schedule.

If the goal is to build a schedule that will get you ready for MAC play and make you a tougher tournament team. I think this schedule accomplishes that:

Yeah, NIU on a Saturday. I can go.

JMU on Dec. 31. Yeah! I can go.

Two games this year at least...
