Joel Nielsen and Company at it again!
The KSU Athletic Department and the Office of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs have teamed up to offer a FREE bus ride, FREE game ticket and FREE lunch ticket to the first 100 KSU students to attend next weeks contest versus Miami!

Did I mention it is FREE?

How much does it cost?

03-wink

That is fantastic. If we have 100 students there, by the 4th quarter, we'll have more than Miami does. (They generally empty out after halftime.)

As a freshman in 1991, I did this same thing for the first game of the season. Only difference is we bussed to Western Michigan and I think I paid $25. Of course I was on the bus with the cheerleaders, so that was a perk. As I recall off the top of my head, we lost 13-10.

Hey with that score at least it would be an entertaining game. I have been at games where it was not close and we lost. That being said I hope we make it not even close and win.

RE: Joel Nielsen and Company at it again!
This is my senior year at KSU and I believe this is the first time a bus trip has been offered for a football game (outside of BC in Cleveland in 2008). There was a nice little KSU section at Beaver Stadium last week so there should be no reason why 99 other students would not want to go, especially because it is FREE!

I remember when I went to the KSU-Miami game in Oxford 2 years ago, there was a nice size Blue and Gold crowd as well. By the 4th quarter rolled around (Edelman and company were up big), there very well may have been an even split between KSU and Miami fans. You could really tell the coaches and players appreciated the support throughout the game.

$50.00 for anyone on the bus in OSU gear. Free for anyone else.

( JUST KIDDING)

Excellent promotional idea and a great offer for the students. Joel promised new ways of promoting football & he's doing it. Now, they just have to win! No more screwing around. Just win!

That's awesome, but sadly enough I don't expect 100 to take them up on such a generous offer.
