I imagine if you snap your Achilles jumping up and down it was about to go anyway.

RE: Coach Hazell
True enough.

Funny a lot of people are saying Arkansas are going to win, but I have little confidence in Arkansas. I guess it is their perceived second tier status in the SEC, all the heads saying they will win, their former South West Conference roots, or my sheer pessimism (probably this). I just hope their defense holds and makes those players that are playing, but are suspended next year, a moot point in this game. No Pryor and co. highlights essentially.

Anyone else hear that shout out to Hazell and Kent by Tressell immediatly after the win? Twice folks, trophy ceremony and the post handshake interview. Anyone think of a better way we could be promoted by OSU?

That was great! Tressel is all class and will continue to do things to help our program I bet.

Probably right. Just such a freak thing...leads long come from behind TD drive with less than 2 minutes left then get hurts in the celebration.

Any news on if we lost any recruits since the coaching turnover?

You know, with the Tressel thing, I wonder if they still see Hazell as Tressel's eventual successor, but the need is there for him to get some head coaching experience. I don't know that I mind; seems like it can be a win-win if Hazell can get the program on track (a la Waters in basketball).

I was thinking about that too. Maybe Tressel already knows in his mind that he will coach for a certain number of years. this is wishful thinking, but Wouldnt it be great if Hazell has success and stays here til his supposed spot opens up in columbus? That could be anywhere from 6-10 years away. It wouldnt be that far fetched, I dont think tressel had any other head coaching experience besides YSU and he made that jump.

Elvis's birthday is today and I think I saw him at the Circle K. Unfortunately I don't now what is least likely. He replacing Tressel or Kent having 6-10 years of good football.

Two winning years will give Hazell a chance to move up, and that is fine with me. As long as he leaves it in good hands, that is all I ask.

Two winning years? In a row? Heck, I'd lead the Draft Hazell for President movement.

Now have 11 commits, and all 5 from the Martin recruiting are still committed. Including a 6 foot 190 lb running back who apparently has a ton of room to get bigger :)

There is an even bigger back KSU recently got. I saw it first from Steve Hare from Rivals.com, but here is Carducci's post:

Scout.com, rivals.com, and espn.com all have Durham as the #3 fullback in the 2011 class. Looks to be quite an addition.
