They played a nice game last night especially in the second half. With 10 minutes to go I looked up and Humes only had 5 points. She ended with 18 so you can guess who finished strong. The big problem was an injury to Gibson's eye in the first half. According to the post game show she is headed to a surgeon today to see if she broke a bone. I think she might be out for a while . Now both of our teams have 4 guards to cover 3 positions and the woman also have no true point guard. Barroilhet did well last night (playing 34 minutes almost killed her, you could see it in her eyes) but I am afraid when a team has a few days to prepare for her it could be a different story. Also it will be tough for her to play 38-40 a game like Gibson was doing. We will just have to wait and see how bad the injury was to Gibson. As Ellie Shields said on the post game "she can still see out of the eye" (oh to be 21 again).

(oh to be 21 again) You ain't kidding!! I do like this team, and I think they can make some noise in the MAC. Here's hoping everything is OK with Stephanie Gibson.
