Wrestling Team
A very nice 3rd place finish in the Virginia Duals. They beat Arizona St (about 22nd in the nation), Lehigh (10th) and gave Penn St. (2nd) a good meet. They fell behind 24-0 after the first 5 weights and then outscored Penn St. 15-3 over the last 5 (no Penn St. did not put in the scrubs after the big lead).

They have great potential if they have now found consistency. Time will tell.

RE: Wrestling Team
Finally starting to show some of potential it looks like. Very good weekend but if there is any downer it was the performance of returning All-American Nic Bedelyon at 125 lbs. He lost to another All-American from AZ ST but then got pinned by Brad Pataky from Penn State whom he defeated handily in 2009 at the NCAA Championships en route to his AA run.

First MAC dual Saturday against Northern Illinois at the MAC Center.
