Women's team let one slip away yesterday. At Ball St. never seems to turn out well even when their team is having a down year as it is this season. Humes got herself in foul trouble as did Gibson in the first half and they dropped from up 12 to a 1pt. lead by halftime. After falling behind by ten they came back and tied it in the last minute to force OT. We won't say too much about the OT other then 1 of 4 from the free throw line and 2 missed lay-ups. We'll have to get another streak going.

Wrestling team destroyed NIU at home 37-6. NIU is the worst in the MAC this year so no big deal.

Gymnastics team had the quad meet at the Wolstein Center won with one event to go. Had a terrible floor exercise and let BYU tie them. Missed out on a really big score by doing it. It seems like the event might be a weakness this year which is unusual. We will have to wait and see. Being ranked 11th in the country is unusually good for a Kent gymnastics team (usually 20-30) so we can't complain too much.

If the men can get on a roll (unfortunately next game at that place Ball St.) we can have a super winter season.

I'm curious to see how the ladies' do as the season wears on. They are off to a great start, and I hope it continues!

Its hard to believe that the men's bball team is the worst sport so far this winter and they are now tied for 1st in the East...
