Actually the students have switched sides. When I was at Kent most students sat on the South side (The band and super fan side). The Krew has moved to the North side now. The Krew should split up and send students to both sides.

I was about to say it felt quieter lately on the band side. I still miss having the band just next to the opposing team's bench. I remember driving several coaches crazy (got that BG coach kicked out of a game once that was fun).

Dakich? We all miss him in a perverse way.

Groce can get a little too emotional, but let's not get crazy here. Dakich would storm out to center court like twice a game.

If that was the BG coach Spring 2003 or later (I cannot remember which year it was) then yea that guy was a real hot head.

Dakich once took his players off the court and into the locker room at the end of regulation of a game they were up by 1. After refs review the clock and put a second on. BGSU got a T for delay of game because he refused to get his team on the court. Buffalo made the T foul shot and sent the game into Ot where UB won. One of the bizzare finishes to a MAC game ever.

I think I remember that. I was all "what!?!".

Penn played 5 road games in row in February, with games on back-to-back nights two times during the stretch. That after opening conference play with 4 straight home games. Very odd schedule.
