Why is Kent State so afraid to play us in the only real sport there is, soccer?

All us Zips want to know.

Well seeing as how we don't have a team, it would be difficult to play you.

Just reference the Reese and Jacoby trophies if you want to trash talk and you think our domination over Akron and the MAC is limited to 1 sport. Thanks for stopping by our board.

who played on Saturday?

The ref's were paid....it won't matter next year. We are moving to a pro-style offense. The days are coming that will be referred to as the 'Golden Age of Zippiness'

Legitimate discussions are fine. Asking why Kent won't play Akron in a sport that Kent doesn't have a varsity team is called trolling.

And, no, the refs were no more horrible than a typical MAC game. Kent just outplayed Akron in the 2nd half.

As for the refs they were no worse than the rest of the season. All the teams made it through the season with the same group of refs. No blaming losses on refs. As for next year, we haven't even finished this year yet! But you are right, you didn't do anything wrong to deserve any hostility besides being a Zip

We don'thave a soccer team for the same reason you don't have a wrestling team. Title IX. But that is a topic for another day.

I just Binged it (get with the times, Google-boy) and discovered that Kent State made a decision to award scholarships to women soccer players...yet not men. Why is that? You have co-ed and all-women's cheerleading...just happened to cut the one sport your rival is the unquestioned dominant force in? The one sport where the world recognizes our supreme stranglehold? Yeah...blame it on Title IX...roman numbers aren't even real by the way.

Men's soccer the one sport the WNBA has a chance to outdraw in attendence....
