Ohio St. just suspended Tressell for 2 games and fined him $250,000 because he knew about the great tattoo scandal in April and did not report it. I have a feeling the NCAA might add to that penalty. I hope our new coach did not know anything because you know the NCAA is going to go after this one big time. I bet the 5 players 5 game suspension won't be shortened now. Also Tressel had a lot of nerve forcing the players to stay their senior year and asking for a reduction in their suspension knowing that he broke the rules also. This sounds like big time trouble to me.

Tressel wins games so everyone ignores everything else for example

- he had past NCAA violations at YSU
- he turns a blind eye when dirt poor clarett is driving new cars every couple weeks
- he throws in hospital visits and player death during his press conference today. how is that anywhere relevant to what the issues are today. his is the spin doctor of all spin doctors
- and then the president (where our tax $ goes) actually states today i hope that the football coach doesnt dismiss me. Are you kidding me. Wrong on so many levels.

This may sound crazy but i think he has underachieved down there. ohio is 3rd or 4th best state in HS football but there is no in-state BCS competition for the talent. Florida, Texas and California has plenty of BCS schools there. All Bucks fans think he is GOD because he beats a bad Michigan and wins a watered down Big Ten and compared to Earle Bruce and Cooper he is really good. But he is absolutely by no means irreplaceable. Actually i think a young innovator who isnt so conservative with play calling could fully utilize the talent he has and outdo him.

Gordon Gee has made two massively embarassing statements in the last 3 months. Is he really that stupid or does he just have a bad sense of humor and come across poorly when he tries to jest in public?
