Tonight will be telling. This is a winnable game. Both teams will be playing for the third consecutive night. The Flashes have the day to digest last night's disappointment and Utah State is no doubt hoping to make this a memorable tournament for their fans.

I will be in c-bus cheering on axeme's other favorite team (yeah, I read hawk talk) take on Ohio State tonight. I'll predict another win for the Flashes on the back's of Porrini and Greene.

Talent, desire, intelligence and heart make an unbeatable team. To win tonight, these traits must be shown. I have only seen one these characteristics with this team lately. I am not giving up yet. Some teams require time to develop and we may have one of them. Will not mention what the real downside to this formula is.

Alex Abreu just had surgery, so I don't think we'll get a true read on the Zips until next month.

Flashes can definitely win this game, however, I am worried about this team. Was talking yesterday with a couple of people who should know and they told me the team has a horrible work/practice ethic, some throw temper tantrums at practice which has included smashing a water bottle against the bleachers because a particular player did not want to run and didn't, and after they faced WVU they realized they needed to get stronger, but more than several refuse to put time in the weight room program. Other incidents were related as well and equally as disappointing. Maybe this is part and parcel of our slow starts.....

We lost two games by five total points. Let's not panic. We are 8 and 2. A little here and there and it could 10 and 0. We are without manns and less than 100 percent porrini and got beat on a prayer. There are egos galore on this team. Losing sometimes let people see the big picture. We don't get mcdonald all americans.

Our last 3 opponents were 205, 278, and 235 and we're lucky to be 2-1 in that strech.

Sounds like the guy who is hitting them has the ability to go off if he gets hot.
