This is making me really happy. Down here we won't be going to a bowl game, despite the fact that we could easily win the big 10. The fact that Kent is projected to right now is better than Ohio state going to any bowl game. I was a huge Kent fan as a little kid, and I still am,even before liking OSU and going here. All of my roommates know it and I stream every game I can in football/basketball/baseball and last year the golf tournament. Knocking on wood as I speak so a 8 game losing streak doesn't happen.
Great national respect, but this is only week 6 of a long season and you never know what injuries, crazy bounces (although maybe they are starting to bounce KSU's way?), and that beautiful NEO weather in late October/all of November. Like Hazell/staff keep preaching, stay together and focus on 1 game @ a time.
My friends/family, spreadout all over the US, will be @ the MAC Championship & Bowl Game if it happens. I came back for the Towson and Ball State games this year, but wont be able to come back for the others.
Another end of the year game vs OU, the day after Thanksgiving, with a lot on the line is was its shaping up to be @ Dix Stadium (I was @ the game in 2006, wind was crazy and KSU's punter decided to have his worst game of his career that day....9 yd and 16 yd punts in KSU territory). BTW, a few of my friends/co-workers who attended OU are really worried about the amount of injuries that they have already sustained (CBs, QB, OL, DL, & WR) to see if they can keep up their great season (5-0 thus far). At least they are realistic and not delusional like the team 15 minutes to the West (I checked out their msg board and they are blaming the refs for the Miami of Ohio loss and that the refs just ruined a special MAC season that was pending......good refs or not, they gave up 709 yds of total offense and didnt force any turnovers, either of those didnt have anything to do with the loss, right? (they are now 1-4 overall and I love every minute of it)

Which is precisely why having two healthy running backs who have the ability to go for 100 yards per game is critical.

I heard there were scouts from approximately 20 NFL teams over there to see Dysert. Apparently they left at halftime because "they couldn't get a fair or accurate read on him against a defense that bad."

But they are going to the Big East.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy and a more deserved program.....
I just bought tickets to the Western Michigan game for October 20th! Would like to see you guys there.....can't beat that Family Fun Package.
If there was any doubt in your mind, is it erased now?!
Awesome effort by the Flashes in Ypsilanti yesterday. Loved Melchiori's fake punt...the one EMU defender kept his back turned thinking he was blocking and Melchiori ran right by him....AURORA!

Might not be bad news on the redshirt front. I wonder how much he can add if he comes back for only half a season. I think that I would just sit him down.
