Look I love Kent as much as the next guy and it's easy to take shots at OSU right now but they are still 8-0 and would still crush any of the MAC teams you're referring to.

How the hell do you know?

The Suckeyes gave up 50 points to IU. Ball State beat them easily. The Suckeyes should have lost to a clueless Purdue team at HOME.

Have you seen Northern Illinois? Have you seen BG's defense? Toledo has more quality wins than the Suckeyes. OU won at Penn State. CMU whipped Iowa in Iowa City.

OSU is undefeated against a high school schedule - with nearly all of those wins coming at home. Give me a break.

You are probably one of those people who skips the Kent State game because the almighty Buckeyes are playing West Illinois Tech University of Indianapolis.

Take it easy. Anti-Zip is one of us. He just apparently has some pride for the cheaters to South.

First off I have seen Northern Illinois...they are surprisingly from Illinois, not Ohio so irrelevant to this discussion. BG is not yet bowl eligible so also irrelevant to this discussion. OU has been beating bad MAC teams by one score, and outside of Ball St we don't have a marquee win. Toledo might have a chance but they sure wouldn't be the favorite.

OSU is 8-0, currently 9th in the AP poll, and has two top 25 wins. You say they should have lost to a clueless Purdue team at home. I say they rallied to win in OT behind their backup QB after the 3rd leading Heisman candidate was hospitalized.

Oh, and I am in fact not one of those people that skips the Kent St. game for any reason. I was one of maybe 40 people in the student section that stayed for the second half yesterday. I've been at every game and even though I can get in free with my student ID, I buy tickets because I graduated last year. I just think it's ignorant to look down on a school with a tradition of success because we're having a good year, the first good year in 40 years.

One other thing to remember. With Hazell and Freeman here we're kind of part of the OSU coaching family now. So I will always defend it when their coaches are called cheaters simply because Hazell was there when it all happened. One more note, don't forget Tressel giving Hazell and Kent St. a shout out on national tv after his last bowl game. Every HS football player in Ohio was likely watching that game. Those few words did more for in-state recruiting than any marketing scheme we could come up with.

Anti zip don't worry. NE Ohio does nothing but complain about how our professional teams stink and they have very little interest in college sports. That makes it difficult for them to praise Ohio st. After all they win fairly consistently and therefore they just do not fit in. I myself will take any winner I can get. Living in Cleveland for 62 years will do that to you. To me Ohio st and kent st play in two different universes. I can't see why you can't root for both. Besides how often would kent beat that school up north.

I am a KSU fan that supports more than one team. As long as it's not another MAC school, I'm ok with a KSU fan having another "team."

Many of us went to more than one school, or have a geographic allegiance. As long as you support the Flashes, you're ok with me.
