Say what you want about the Record Courier, but their analysis and coverage has been very good.

I agree. The first place I check now for KSU football news is the Record Courier. You don't get the same old warmed over wire reports and they usually have something new in at least 2-3 times a week. It's got to be hard coming up with new story ideas that often. I think they are trying to build connections into the program and I hope they will be rewarded with some exclusives. I only wish the PD would try that hard, but I don't think Elton Alexander gets it.
On the radio, I would like to complement new addition, Mike Drake. He brings a coaches understanding of the game and adds insights that you can only get from someone that has been there firsthand. I don't know if he ever has done radio before but he really sounds professional and composed. It is obvious he does his prep, plus being on the sidelines and knowing the players personally adds a lot to the Needle/Linder play by play. Whoever thought this one up in the Athletic Dept should be congratulated.
The internet connection was good last night, The pre-game more or less started on time (6:05) and was intelligible the entire game. Post game went to completion and shut off shortly thereafter. Good production. Now, if we could just get that Inside Kent State Sports program on as advertised, I would have something midweek to look forward to.
