I was wondering if you guys have ever offered a guy named Kyree Jones(b-ball)? He apparently committed to NIU but I read(messageboard rumor) that you guys had offered him at one time. If so, what have you heard about the guy(other than he has been to 5 different schools)?
FR - Bloomington South (IN)
SO - Chicago Julian
JR - Lawrence North (Indianapolis, IN)
SR - Christian Life Center Academy (Houston, TX)
North Carolina Tech Prep (Charlotte, NC)

I kind of figured that would be the case but thought I would ask. WHile he sounds like a decent player(ESPN ranked him as the #56 PG in '09), he doesn't seem like a Kent recruit. For whatever reason, I can't picture Kent going for a player that has played for 5 different schools. You can get good players with a more stable high school career because of your reputation of being a good b-ball program.

Kent's had some players with long histories (Antonio Gates played at 3 colleges before Kent; Eric Haut played at a bunch of different high schools, but I think that was more a case of his family moving around).

Dwain Williams would prove otherwise.
