We have won 13 games in a row ??? That is pretty solid. Regardless of the times we have needed second half or late comebacks, we have prevailed 13 straight times. #14 comes Friday for the MAC title.

You forgot the Buffalo game, but yeah, it has been a pretty good run. I thought 12-4 at best, and certainly the BG home loss in particular made that difficult.

I did actually. What is funny is I thought off the top of my head we had lost recently, and I went to the KSU athletics homepage and then the schedule and counted 13 straight wins. It lists that game as a win. That is my bad !

Let just hope we make it at least 8 in a row! Although if we were to string together 14 that would be nice as well!

i really don't care what we do as long as we beat akron and win the regular season title everything is gravy after that! i know this is such a long shot but our rpi is #48 which puts us right in with the likes of st. mary's and cornell...any chance if we beat akron and go the the mac championship finals we get an at large? our rpi would be around 40 then

Hey. you have got to go to Zipsnation.org and read some of the nonsense that those people post about their team. Some believe that they are still in the at - large picture. Another says that Akron could win the NIT. Its great stuff.

That the cavs roster have two players who may have a friendly bet for the kent/akron game. Lebron from akron and telfair from coney island. I said it first..lol

It is tough for a mid-major to win the NIT. Beyond the first round, they rarely play at home, especially with the new seeding. I do not believe in NCAA conspiracies, but the NIT does have conspiracies. They do not want a Kent State or Akron winning two games in New York. Besides, a team's mental mind-set is so up in the air. I thought the 2004 team in particular could make a run, but they lost at home to West Virginia, a rare opportunity to play a major at home (though that was before WVU had done anything recently).

I seriously doubt a 40 RPI would make the cut for a team from the MAC, the 16th ranked conference.
