Cool Women Open With Win
Bob Lindsay's gals got it done tonight at Canisius by a final score of 60-54. That's three straight opening day wins for KSU.

A very good start to the weekend for Kent State Sports!

There appeared to have been a Chenel Harris sighting tonight. Her play really tailed off last year. That team can be very good if Harris, Jones and Humes are all playing well at the same time.

Bingo, KStud. That's the key. Sometimes those players struggle with defense Coach Lindsay wants them to play. They play very aggressively but that often leads to fouls so a lot of times last year Humes and Jones couldn't be on the floor at the same time.

RE: Women Open With Win
I was a little disappointed Gibson had to play 40 minutes. That will be tough if it happens all year. Also they have 5 seniors this year who played 150 of the 200 minutes. Only at center was there some significant minutes played by the bench. If this freshman class does not step up that will be the 3rd class in a row where we got absolutely nothing. Does anybody know why Stutzman is no longer with the team? She looked promising as a freshman but really faded last year.
