Sure, I said before I wouldn't have Conyers as anything more than an honorable mention and move either Greene or Bowdry up to the first team. I think I lean towards Bowdry as kind of a lifetime thing in all honestly, but I think it's pretty close between the two. More of a tiebreaker thing than an outright this is the guy thing. Bowdry did lead the conference in rebounding though.

Overall I otherwise think the rest of the teams were pretty much as I would have picked them. I probably would bump Conyers all the way down to HM and probably pull up Silas just because he is the second leading scorer in the conference, so I agree with you there. Bassett is worth a consideration for second team too, but I'd lean towards Silas I think.

RE: MAC Basketball Awards
The thing that bothers me the most is that akron has three guys on the all mac team. When I watched both akron games the akron brothers looked lost and overwhelmed both times. I don't think they had twenty points between them in both games.leaving justin off the first team is like having karl malone off the first yet having stockton there. You can't have one without the other. Its a shame that they would do this because of senior favoritism. If greene wins one year with guys having played better than him, would you think that would be fair? They keep score for a reason. They keep stats for a reason. These awards in pro sports often determine how much a guy is worth. These awards should be well thought out and researched. I hope conyers can shut us up and proves he deserves these awards. Seriously doubt it.Wow, I still can't believe it. Greene is better than conyers on both sides of the ball. I guess only kent supporters can see that. Can't wait for kent/ akron 3. If they both make it we should make it ineresting and put the awards up. Winner takes all. Akrons so called dpoy has allowed us plus thirty on them. They have a seven footer and dpoy and all mac mcknight brothers, yet we beat them like varsity vs jv. I guess since they wear lebrons sneakers that merits something and we want him to feel like his shoes make akron go. Just give us one more shot at them and all this will be forgotten.

Yes, I think greene is overall better than bowdry. Here is why. There is not much difference between their scoring and rebounding. Greene has a better fg pecentage. He is a better free throw shooter. He is a better passer. He blocks more shots. Bowdry plays 32 minutes a game compared to 28 for greene. It may not seem like a lot, but those minutes add to equal three games more for bowdry. Give greene those extra minutes and well I guess you see my point. This is just my opinion. Now do you think bowdry is better. P.s. greene did get two votes for poy and neither bowdry or conyers received any. I rest my case.
