RE: Coach Hazell
I think three West games could be the max. We'd only have five East games and not play one East team. Don't most or all West teams have three crossover games? If so, then the East has 18 crossover games to split among seven teams: three teams would have two and four teams would have three. Thirteen teams makes scheduling screwy. Curse you, prime numbers!

RE: Coach Hazell
Just judged solely on the historic rotation of the conference schedule, I think your 2011 slate will look like this:

Home
Louisiana, South Alabama, BG, Central, Eastern, Miami
Away
Alabama, Kansas State, Northern, Akron, Ohio, Temple

I believe once a team in your division goes on the "do not play" list, it's a two-year deal. Not playing a team in your own division is one of the most asinine things I've ever heard (but hey it's the MAC). So that means Buffalo is off again for 2011.

Consider this my $0.02.

Does anyone know if Hazell used all of the available scholarships or did he save a few? If he saved a few, how many?

He stated on the video on kentstatesports.com that they have 1 scholarship remaining.

I received my football season ticket renewal in the mail today. Why have they not advertised that the price of your football season tickets comes off of your basketball season tickets. Great deal.

Because it is the marketing folks at work. 03-banghead I think all of the football games had "special" $5 tickets, but they were never marketed that way. I came to the New Year's Eve basketball game, and they had $5 tickets and $1 hot dogs and cokes but no mention on the web site leading up to the game.

Thanks, I had a brain fart on the breakdown. Having to travel to NIU, I have no problem with missing Toledo and WMU.

Was there any mention of Malcolm Pannell. He was a recruit last year, but they had highlights in this year's video. Was he a gray shirt?

Tough schedule! KSU could be a good team and still finish .500...7 wins is the most I can see happening (which would be great!).

I see no reason not to expect 6-0 at home. It probably won't happen, but this program has to get over the idea that there are games they are not supposed to win.

I think they HAVE to go 6-0 at home because I could see them going 0-6 on the road.

You see them losing to Akron?

Well previous teams often found a way. I hope this coach stops that trend.

Can you ever really predict the Wagon Wheel game? I'd like to think we'll win but I can't say it with total confidence. With that stated, it's certainly the most winnable road game this year.
