Yes parts of the student section were reserved for the football team, for whatever reason it was they wanted to get them there and Hazell wants them all to get involved with more then football...ok in my book.

to the student section.....as you may or may not know, I am the founder of the Krew and while some may disagree with what we do/say I can only control so much in that type of setting.

As far as the Krew itself goes, I have been here for 4 years and I realized a need last year for some kind of unity throughout the students. There had been no real "section" and as you know alot of the games (minus akron games) were not real exciting. So I took it upon my self (with the help of the athletic dept) to work on bringing unity and an environment not seen before..

Unlike the Rowdies....our group is free and open to everyone. Remember its only finished its second full year so to measure progress you have to look at attendance in our section alone. Last year for home games we struggled to fill one section, this year I do believe that every home game we filled our respective section and handed out Krew shirts to anyone and everyone who stood with us.

Long term the goal would be to get both sides of the MAC to be the "Krew" but as of now we are working on creating a passionate core group of people then expanding as we gain momentum and hopefully becoming what you see at other D1 schools.

Just remember, student involvement in athletics is really low so give credit where credit is due. Athletics has done well motivating students to come out and also given me the resources to do the same.

I would like to see the Krew grow to the point where they occupy the entire student section!!

If I get a job back in Ohio (I have 5 interviews at schools next week), I'm going for my PhD, and using my student ID to be the oldest member of the Krew. If my wife approves.

Hahahahaha Alpha if you join the Krew I will stand next to you at all the home games.

OMG, where so I begin? I just had flashbacks of 80's WWF wrestling with Axe & Smash Demolition.
First off, are we going to eat, pop, then eat the zits in that order? Second, if you are going to flash my mother, then you are flashing your own -my mom, sadly, has 2 degrees from @kron.

I wish somebody who claims to be a Gator fan would show a bit more class. Coming from a family of Florida Gator alumni I am very disappointed in your lack of class, Gator fans are supposed to be better than that.
